This year marks the tenth anniversary of Nota. After passing a major milestone with the IPO, we turned our focus back to the people who built this journey. We wanted to hear what Nota has meant to them and which moments have stayed with them the most.
Today’s interview features Dongho, who leads the Solution Biz1 team. He has worked at the closest point to customers, moving between business and technology from contracts to certifications and on site responses. His three years and nine months at Nota show how much learning and growth can happen in a fast changing environment.
ㅣFirst Experiences in the Field and a Time of Fast Growth
Hello. Could you briefly introduce yourself.
Hello. My name is Dongho Ka, and I lead the Solution Biz1 team at Nota. It is nice to meet you.

It has been three years and nine months. What moment stands out the most from that time.
The first project I ever handled is the first thing that comes to mind. I had only been at Nota for three months when I was given the chance to lead a contract worth more than one hundred million won. I had to persuade internal teams, build the business, and close the project. I traveled back and forth to Jeju constantly. It was exhausting, but I was fully immersed. I had not expected to be responsible for business work, so that experience became the start of everything.
Was there another moment that left a big impression.
Yes. I still remember when we obtained our first certification. The whole team worked on it together. We felt that simply copying existing solutions would have no impact in the market, so we needed an innovative feature. It was our first time doing something like that, so there were many challenges. But when we finally saw the result, it felt like the direction we needed to take became clear. Development, business, and the NetsPresso team all contributed, and I think that experience helped the team grow. It showed us that potential can be turned into reality.
With so many new attempts, there must have been difficulties. What was the hardest part.
The physical strain was the toughest. We traveled not only to the Middle East but also constantly within Korea to Incheon, Jeju, and Gyeongju. Everyone was exhausted. If the results had been poor, I think it would have been mentally harder too. Thankfully, most outcomes were good, so the impact on the team was positive. But I know it will continue to be challenging, which is something I feel some pressure about.

Despite all that, you seem to have strong affection for Nota. What gives you that energy.
Even though it is company work, everyone treats it like their own. Watching that every day, especially now that I manage work rather than only doing it myself, makes me think I need to lead the team well. When I see team members taking ownership and finishing tasks even when they are tired, it motivates me too. It reminds me that I have responsibilities I need to fulfill.
ㅣBuilding Ownership as a Team and Looking Ahead
As a team leader, is there anything you would like to say to your team.
First of all, thank you. We share responsibility as one team, and I believe good results follow when we do our best. Let’s continue moving forward together.
If you were to describe Nota in one phrase, what would it be.
A place full of ownership. My favorite leadership principle is also ownership. Like I mentioned, everyone treats challenges as their own work, and I feel that this spirit defines Nota. We have grown well so far, and we are entering an important period. I hope we continue to grow into a strong company both in Korea and globally.

What do you think the solutions you are working on will mean for the market.
Our slogan is AI Everywhere. In the industries we work in, AI will become a major part of operations. As AI spreads, things that once felt like science fiction may actually happen in real life. That is exciting, and I hope we can take a leading role in shaping that future.

Dongho’s story reflects the intensity and challenges of working on real solution sites. His first contract only three months after joining, the team’s first certification, the effort to define new features, and travels across Korea and overseas all shaped the experiences he and his team built together. Through this journey, they strengthened ownership and discovered their potential.
The accumulated experiences of the Solution team will be an important foundation as Nota brings AI into more industries. As we look toward the next ten years, we hope this spirit of ownership and challenge continues to guide Nota onto an even bigger stage.
