Where We Make AI Everywhere

Sometimes, a quick glance around someone's room is enough to get a sense of their taste and lifestyle - what colors they like, what objects they keep close, what they consider important.
So what does the Nota office say about us, with more than 150 members working together? This space is more than just a place to get work done. It reflects how we work and collaborate, and what we value most. In this post, we'd like to take you on a tour of our office.
As you follow along, we hope you'll get a natural feel for the everyday life and culture woven into every corner of Nota.
Stay Curious, Stay Connected

When you walk through the entrance and head toward the lounge, the first thing to greet you is the slogan "Stay Curious, Stay Connected." Just as Nota's technology was born from curiosity about a better everyday life, curiosity about the world around us is one of the qualities every Nota member is encouraged to cultivate. This space was designed with the hope that we remain curious about one another, and that curiosity becomes connection.
The lounge snack bar has a slightly different atmosphere from the rest of the office. While the work areas feature bright, clean white tones, the snack bar is defined by warm wood colors and soft lighting, making it easy to shift from work mode into rest mode.

No office is complete without coffee. We have an espresso machine along with a selection of coffee beans, so every morning brings the pleasant dilemma of choosing which one to try. It's also a natural spot to run into a colleague, exchange a greeting, and strike up a conversation about your favorite roast.
Many Nota members use tumblers, and to make sure a commitment to the environment doesn't get blocked by the inconvenience of cleaning, we've equipped the snack bar with a tumbler washer. Fitting for an AI company that values efficiency, optimization extends to office life too. 😉

True to its name, the snack bar is well-stocked with a variety of snacks and beverages, along with healthy options and a vitamin dispenser. Nota is located near Samseong Station, famous for its great restaurants, so lunch is never a problem. But inside the office, you can recharge anytime.

Once you've grabbed your coffee and snack, it's time to head over to the bulletin board. Many members naturally drift here with a fresh cup in hand to catch up on the latest news. You'll find new hire introductions, in-house study group announcements, and all sorts of updates posted here. Small as it is, this board is another meaningful point of connection among Nota members.

At Nota, we place great importance on "Align," our company-wide gatherings where we look back on what we've accomplished and get on the same page about where we're heading. Day to day, the lounge is a relaxed space for recharging, but when it's time to align, it transforms into an open forum where the entire company comes together.

Walk a little further toward the windows and you'll find cozy nooks tucked along the way. There's also a mini library where members can freely borrow books that interest them. We have both specialized technical titles and introductory tech books, which helps members outside of engineering roles deepen their understanding of Nota.
A Collaborative Space, the Nota Way
"Our next meeting is in Think Big." "Let's talk more in Ownership."
These are phrases you'll hear throughout the office without much effort. Meeting room names are among the words we see, say, and hear every single day. So at Nota, we named each room after one of our Core Values (CV) or Leadership Principles (LP), so that members are reminded of how we work at every turn.

When you picture a "meeting room," what comes to mind? Probably a rectangular table with chairs arranged neatly around it. At Nota, we made small but intentional changes to that familiar setup, hoping to bring a fresh perspective to the collaboration process.

First is the Ownership room. True to its name, the space features a round table in the shape of an "O." Sitting around a table with no head seat, regardless of title or seniority, naturally encourages everyone to speak up and take ownership of their work.

The Customer-Centric room is a bit more playful. Its table is built from a ping-pong table. At lunchtime, spirited matches are played here, and when meetings begin, sharp, customer-focused decisions rally back and forth just like the ball.

Every meeting room at Nota is equipped with video conferencing hardware to support seamless remote collaboration. It's one of the reasons we can have high-density communication even when working from home, and it means we can connect easily with colleagues at our overseas offices in the US, Germany, and beyond, anytime.
Where We Make AI Everywhere
Naturally, the largest share of our office is taken up by the work area, the place where we spend the most time turning our vision of "AI Everywhere" into reality.

Every desk is a height-adjustable standing desk, paired with a comfortable chair. Nota also provides all members with an annual equipment allowance, which you can use to purchase the keyboard, mouse, or other peripherals that work best for you, making your workspace truly your own.
There are no partitions in Nota's work area, and no assigned seating by title or role. This open structure means everyone can freely exchange ideas and share thoughts without formality. The physical openness, the ability to approach anyone at any time, is the foundation of Nota's flat communication culture.

Sometimes a private call comes in, or you simply need silence to concentrate. For those moments, focus rooms and phone booths are stationed throughout the office. The warm, concentration-enhancing lighting makes these the first place people head when they need to get into deep focus quickly.

For me, the greatest charm of Nota's workspace is the floor-to-ceiling windows stretching across one entire wall. In the morning, warm sunlight streams in; in the afternoon, the sky turns a deep red. When you need a moment away from your screen, just look up and take in the view.
Expanding Our Home: Nota Office 2

As our team has grown, Nota has expanded into the building directly across from our original office. There were some initial concerns about the physical distance, but a few months in, we've found ourselves embracing a number of unexpected positive changes.
Members move freely between both offices rather than locking themselves into one location for meetings. This naturally creates more cross-team interaction, and just the simple act of changing your environment provides a refreshing mental reset. Being in a shared co-working space also means we get energizing exposure to people from other companies.
If you're joining Nota soon, there's no need to worry about which office you'll be based in. You'll feel connected to the whole team before you know it. We'll keep growing, with this expanded space as our foundation, and we hope you'll be part of the journey.
