Happy New Year! Another year down. Is it just me, or does it feel like time is passing by faster than ever? 2024 was a good year for me, filled with many great memories. With that in mind, what will the new year bring? Every December I take time to reflect, and to make plans and set goals that I want to accomplish. Every new year is a fresh start, and I feel reenergized and ready to take on the world.

Nota's 2024 was a whirlwind, we experienced some significant changes and growth. Let's take a look at what happened over the course of more than 240 working days last year.
In January 2024, Nota had 99 employees. By December, that number had grown to 117.
We held approximately 9,000 meetings, and took more than 60 business trips to 13 countries.
Our in-house channel was abuzz with good news, with 11 papers being accepted and numerous new projects being green-lit.
We participated in many events, such as the NVIDIA GTC 2024 in spring, and the SK AI Summit in fall.
We received multiple prestigious awards, including the Mayor of Seoul's Award, the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award, and the Venture Startup Patent Award.
Some other notable events
We relocated our Seoul office to the 16th floor of the Parnas Tower near Samseong Station.
We secured Series C funding, with a cumulative investment total of 53.2 billion KRW (₩)
In the latter half of the year, we achieved “A, A” ratings in critical technical evaluations required for IPO preparation.
Seeing it written down like that makes me realize just how much we achieved. To celebrate our successes, we held a year-end party on December 23rd , 2024.
ㅣWaving Goodbye to 2024
The main event of our party was a fun New Year's Tarot reading, where we could catch a glimpse of our coming fortune. There were a total of 10 unique cards, each hand-drawn with a positive message. Which one is your favorite?
Personally, I like the “Fortune of Courage Through Big Thinking” card, as it was inspired by one of our Leadership Principles: Think Big. Thinking about this message fills me with positivity for the new year. Considering what we achieved in 2024, the sky is the limit.
We also encouraged people to make their own cards, and those who did were rewarded with a limited-edition blanket as a special gift. It brought a lighthearted, but sincere, touch to the party.
Before the tarot reading began, I asked each Nota crew member what their hopes were for the new year. I can remember all of their answers so clearly, some spoke about the kind of person they wish to become, while others told me about the accomplishments they hope to achieve. The sincerity in their voices was clear, and I could sense the energy of new beginnings.
Though each person had a unique answer, one common thread united them all: a desire for personal growth, to become a better person than last year.
Coincidentally, Nota received its technology evaluation results on the day of the party. We achieved an “A” rating from both NICE D&B, and Korea Technology Finance Corporation. This added to the jovial atmosphere, and we were able to enjoy a double celebration in light of this outstanding achievement. It was a truly special day, and a reward for a year's worth of hard work. And just as our tarot cards predicted, I hope your 2025 will be one of good luck and success.
In the face of difficult market conditions, our evaluation results were even more meaningful. From securing Series C funding, to earning the highest possible ratings in technology evaluation, 2024 was a year where we demonstrated our growth and potential, and solidified our strong reputation for technological innovation. But we won't stop there. Our vision of “AI Everywhere” remains in our sights for the future. At this moment, I'd like to pause to sincerely thank everyone for their hard work throughout 2024.
Myungsu : In 2024, what I appreciated most about Nota, was how we came together to think, discuss and work towards shared goals. Through collaboration, we were able to see the bigger picture, and we took the company to a new level. Everyone is striving to be better, and that is reflected in our upward trajectory. Considering the lay of the land in global technology, and our specialization with AI and semiconductors, we have further opportunities to achieve great things together. Let's do it!

To help ease us into the new year, we prepared some special New Year's cards. The mission was simple, to recall 2024, and set goals for 2025. Don't give in to failure
As you can see, the responses were varied and interesting. From self-motivation, to an upcoming marriage, and even babies arriving! Reading over the cards once more, I am filled with a great warmth for my colleagues. The longer that we work together, and the more we learn about one another, we become something akin to one big family ourselves. Here's to 2025!
Tae-Ho : It pleases me to say that Nota's growth has exceeded our expectations. In the coming year, we have further scope to surpass what we did in 2024, bringing more of our technology to the forefront. We all have goals, individually and collectively, and I hope this year will be one where you achieve all that you set out to do. I wish to look back on a happy and successful 2025, just as we did for 2024.
So what will 2025 bring? What will we achieve, and who will we meet along the way? The new year brings new opportunities, and I'm looking forward to seeing what we can do with them.
